We'll be comin' round the mountain here we come! YEEHAW!

I'm so excited to be leaving to San Diego this evening for a week and a half! Wee! We will be celebrating Elora's very FIRST Christmas! Although she probably won't remember it, we will definitely make it extra special and catch it all on video and capture photos for her to see later.

I am shocked on how much you need to pack for a little 3 month old! WOW! Her stuff is taking over our whole car! Haha, okay maybe I'm exaggerating a little, but still WOW! And we don't want to forget anything either! I've had weeks to pack and plan so I'm 100% sure we won't forget anything!

This time of the year I miss San Diego. My heart will always be in San Diego, but now we have established a beautiful life in Arizona. We had to sacrifice being close to family moving here, but I think it makes us appreciate our family more being far away. "Distance makes the heart grow fonder". I firmly believe that quote.

Alright my loves, time to get ready to go! I will be back with lots of photos and memories in a week! If I'm not back on here before Christmas... MERRY CHRISTMAS to you and yours on this beautiful Holiday!

Cheers!

It's definitely WINTER now! Brrrrrrrrrrr!!!

Wow! Can we say FREEZING!?!? It is SO cold nowadays! It's hard for me to want to get up in the morning! I just want to stay in bed and cuddle with Elora=) I heard that it was going to snow in San Diego, but by the time the snow reaches the ground it will melt. Now that's COLD!  I don't think I could live in a cold state. As much as I hate Arizona's blazing summer's heat, I miss it right now!

I'm so excited to be in San Diego next week! We will be leaving on Friday the 18th and staying until the 27th. Long time, I know!!! I'm SO excited! I hope we get some sunny days there so I can take some photos. I have a few photo sessions that I plan on doing while I'm there. (newborn, engagement, wedding & family photos)

Weekends should be 3 days long and the work week should be 4 days. That would be ideal! Who can I write to get that going? Obama? haha=) I love staying home with Elora everyday, BUT some days I really miss Brandon being home with us. He is SO good with her. I'm very lucky to have him as my Husband & the Father of my baby. I love him to pieces!

Brandon wants to get me an Iphone, why? I don't know. I'm not a fan of touchscreen phones because I text so much. But the features on the newest one sounds pretty appealing to me. I always use the internet on my phone. And it would be great to put my photos on there. I have a Samsung Blackjack right now and the video on it is HORRIBLE! I love taking videos of Elora and sending it to our family. So the new Iphone would be great to take clear crisp videos on the fly! We'll see if "Santa" gives it to me this year=)

Time to get the day started! Well at least TRY to.. It's too darn cold to do anything! And I'm NOT using that as an excuse, I promise! =)

Til next time...

Oh Santa Baby!

Today we took Elora to a Christmas shindig that our H.O.A. provided for our children. Elora is too small to do any of the crafts they had going BUT she did meet Santa! Well, sort of=)

Check her out!

I think as long as she didn't turn around to look at him, she was happy=) I LOVE the Santa outfit Grandma got for her! She will be wearing this on Christmas Eve & Day too!

Okay, I don't want to sound ungrateful for our H.O.A. doing this Christmas thing for our children, BUT this Santa did NOT look good. The one at Chandler Mall actually looked REAL! It's okay, Elora is so small she doesn't know the difference now, but later we're going to see a REAL looking Santa=)

Wow! Time sure flies!

Wow! I'm really behind now! My parents came into town the morning after Thanksgiving so we've been pretty occupied! Elora's first Thanksgiving was spent at our good friend's, The Goodan's house in Buckeye. We arrived there around 12:30pm and spent the whole day there. It was so much fun spending time with Summer, Dana, Autumn and Marissa. We had good laughs and great food! I took a ton of photos of our girls! Autumn & Elora's first Thanksgiving! And we were fortunate to be able to spend it together. It feels good to have such great friends in our lives!

I'm proud to say that my baby girl is a little model already! Check out the local ads that she is in:

I am going to start a little portfolio for her. She is going to LOVE looking back at these photos when she gets older!

Elora is now two months old! I can't believe how fast time flies! I have been loving being able to stay home with her and watch her grow! AND she's officially sleeping through the night! It's been about a week and a half now! We're so thrilled! Just the other day when my parents were in town visiting, Elora laughed/giggled for the FIRST time!!! It was the CUTEST sound ever!! And of course her Daddy was making her laugh! I tried to make her laugh and no go haha. One day I shall make her laugh! It was awesome to have her Grandmama & Grandpa witness it too!

We've been doing a lot of our Christmas shopping online. It's been so convenient and the shipping is super fast now since it's getting close to Christmas! We're going to wait on getting a Christmas tree until next year since this year we're going to San Diego. Plus, next year Elora will be a little older to actually enjoy the lights and decor. I got Elora a BIG piggy bank to start her savings in for Christmas. I'm going to wrap it for her so she can attempt to open it haha.

We will be going to San Diego on the 18th through the 27th. It will be nice to visit family for awhile. I'm also going to be taking photos for my portfolio. I'm really excited about it!

Well, back to Mommyland! Until next time...
